Not everyone wants the ZF reprogramming option, especially those with XC2 boxes. There was never any talk of XC2 being unusable when the discussion of ZF tuning was being had. I'm certain there is legal protection from a consumer perspective under relevant legislation, it would be a matter of investigating, then seeking compensation. I did for other reasons, as im not even remotely interested in my zf getting tuned. Hp seems to be gaining monentum in australia and its only a matter of time until hp has all the same stuff as sct. And you can buy the hp software cheap, I just bought it for 950 bucks. Only slightly dearer than a xcal3 and you nevet get outdated as such with free software updates when they come out. Cant remember if there a reason why, just skimmed over that part. Looks like I converted from ZF to manual just in time. Although it probably wont be long before they shut the xcal2 off completely. If they do that I am not upgrading to xcal3 and going to talk to my tuner about other options. If there was a class action I would definitely put my name down as I'm sure a lot of others on this forum would.
