currently have my build in progress, v8 box and K+N , process west 2 kit, F6 injectors, 5" venom cat, centre muffler removed, ready for tune next week or so ! If I crack 300rwkw I will be happy !

Newbie owner of a 2008 FG XR6T, after reading the forum and deciding to go for some basic first round mod I was pleasantly surprised with the results

Growler CAI

ID 1000cc injectors

Hurricane high flow cat

Herrod intercooler pipe kit

SCT X3 and custom tune by Ali at BTA Motorsport

Just picked up the car, the dyno was run in hot/humid conditions, air density 94.4% and 31 degrees

Results 294.5rwkw and 750Nm of torque, the car feels so much more responsive and the wall of torque is fantastic

I think the piping kit also add a bit of turbo noise when you back off the throttle, not too loud, but enough for other drivers to know you have a turbo charged car:)

Will wait a few weeks, getting the ZF 6 speed tuned, and will consider an intercooler for the hot months ahead to stabilise air temp into the turbo

im looking at $5295 – Turbo back stainless steel exhaust

- 6 x high flow injectors

- Air intake

- Flash tuner SCT 3 including custom tuning on dyno

- Labour

do you think that's a fair price. reckons I will make 288rwkw roughly but from what everyone else is saying it should be much more.

any recommendations for sydney?

Not at all.

Spend that on the right mods and you'll max out the turbo at 320.

Picked my ute up last month with leather platinum audio and all the bits and bobs for $34999 brand new. pretty chuffed at that

although that's for a ute not a sedan

I assume you are asking because of their injector/flash tuner and generic tune packages available on the bay of fleas?
