Had the box flush and replaced the oil with the factory stuff and still get a whoop noise when I gun it through the gears, changes fine when driving normally. I had also had a flash done on it and didn't make any difference, bloody weird.
Essgee Legacy Donating Member 52 Member For: 16y 11m Gender: Male Posted 26/05/12 06:30 AM Posted 26/05/12 06:30 AM I've just had mine looked at by Power Ford for similar symptoms (late changing down when coming to a complete stop, slipping when changing up from 1st to 2nd when cold) They kept it over 2 nights to check it out when it is cold. They came back to me and said the box was 500ml short of fluid. Thye changed the fluid and asked me to monitor it. There's a definite improvement bu the fault is still there.Warranty runs out in 2 months so will be giving them a call this week to let them know. I have already asked them to make sure my complaint is documented incase it becomes worse or totally fails outside of warranty.For what it's worth, Power Ford Castle Hill have been great to deal with.

If anything they will just band aid it till warranty runs out then your on your own.
