ZF's are crap though. That's why a lot of the expensive euro brands run them.

Hey Dilly, just a heads-up, there's talk about the ZF in the diesel territory thread. You'd better get on to that sh*t and spread your wisdom too.

It's not actually a real ZF, but a ZF built by Ford under license, so that would have to be even worse yeah? Bloody idiots, they're even putting them in all-wheel drives now.

we live in the stone age here, these were a top gearbox 10 years ago, but what do you expect, these are 50k not 200k cars, I personally think the 5spd auto in my awd magna (evo 6 gta auto) was a better box, I drive a 3spd powershift ZF at work and I think that's better, but its in an 800k vehicle
