Getting excited :auto:

Was looking at heading down inland from Brissie to do a lap of Mt Panorama on the way through...but does anyone know what the locusts are doing?

Well weather bit poor this weekend - though Saturday the main day not that bad. Guess no picnic lunch at Yarrangobilly caves. Let's hope this is one of those times the weather bureau completely farrks it up :dontknow:

Gary (and others) Just giving you fair warning. Rusty and I did the springs on my car over the weekend and I put it in for a wheel alignment. Anyway, a few things I had suspected as needing attention, did in fact need attention including the front lower ball joints. etc etc etc.

Anyway, I thought there is no way I'm going to drive over 1000 ks. some of them through spirited twisties without getting things fixed.

They ASSURE me the car will be ready by Thursday lunchtime and said it would probably be ready tomorrow, but I've been caught out before. I have to get it back in time to fit new front pads and change the oil which is not a problem. I can do that Thursday night.

Anyway, 95% probability that I will be right but there is the extreme outside chance that I may not.

Now, if it wont be ready by say Friday Morning, that's still ok. I'll still head up and just may get to Tumut a bit late on Friday night. If that happens, well so be it.

Even if I have to drive the daughters 626 I'll be there. (May even put a few of you to shame)

No roadworks on the main Saturday route except for some road works leading into Tumut from the Hume Freeway. There is a bike event but they leave Tumut at 11am and don't have any details on their route but if we leave Tumut about 8am - we should be okay. I don't think is a large affair like where they close off roads and such.

Updated first post with some emergency numbers.

Weather was great in Melbourne today - hoping it holds out

I has good news and bad news.

The good news is, baby is back in the garage lookin and feeling all purdy and as tight as a...well. tight.

The bad news is....they put a Pedders sticker on my rear window. I have nothing against Pedders. I just hate stickers on my car. :buttonit: I really don't know if I can show my face anywhere. I feel defiled and dirty.

:spoton:

But I guess if I work through the nite and dont have any sleep I will be able to remove it in time for da cwoose.

So unless the ISS falls to ground in the Hoppers Crossing area in the next 24 hours, I will see you at Wallan Gary, and see the rest of you at Tumut.

And Pat, my main Suspension dude, I'm buying you a beer....and you can buy me 3. LOL
