With the amount of talk on the subject you think it would at least be a factory fit option in MK2

It would be admitting they effed up by not having it as an option in the first place - chance of that happening...?

Although I'm sure if it does some marketing guy will spin that "we've been listening to our customers and this is what they're asking for..."

I would bet that Ford doesn't believe they made a mistake not installing an LSD in FG I. The car is a performance touring vehicle that isn't designed for powering out of corners hard or dragging.

I think they should have one mind you.

They're overrated in any case, certainly don't miss the whine from the fckers either.

If that's the only thing deterring you from getting one snap out of it...even RAP1D is pushing eleventy thousand killowasps through his without complaint.

Pssst. I like mine. It's great. And it doesn't whine - in fact it's the quietest slippery I've ever had. The beauty of a custom build from experts.

Next time I'll probably buy the standard bongo and put an aftermarket in again - properly built and matched to specs - unless the factory can prove they have a unit "better than current offering" of course.

Producing a car like this with just under or just over eleventy thousand killerwasps deserves a drive train to match.

Hi Johnny,

Am picking up my G6ET Sunday week (14,000km on the clock $44K ex a Ford employee). Only thing that concerns me is the absence of a LSD. Already plan to get Nizpro (Bayswater Melb) to do a few things. Where did get your LSD? Who are the experts?

The question should be "are ford going to fix up the phucked up diff bush setup on the series 2"

As least you can install an LSD. Fixing up poor design of the rear bush is a bit more harder.

Lol, thanks for the welcome. I've been looking for a place where old hoons go to lie.

I reckon I've found the car and judging by some of the posts I could be right at home here.

ps I have a nice grey cardigan, but the wife won't let me wear it, will post pic of slippers instead.
