Thanks for the pics, I don't think that photo turned out right, cause it does look to have an orange tinge to it. It doesn't look as vibrant as the real venom does on AU's. How similar is the Acid rush colour to the golden-ish colour available for VX's?

I personally think the Acid Rush has more of an orangey look to it then the VX colour. Its alot brighter and more vibrant too. I guess thats why i chose it after much debate. Im cant wait till i get mine! :D

Acid Rush is a great colour, in fact I think Ford dont have a bad colour in their range. Of course it's a personal thing so if Acid ruch puts a smile on your dial :D then that's all that matters. Regardless of colour, you'll still be one of the luckiest and happiest fellas on the block and a proud owner of an XR6 Turbo.

I was going to order Phantom but they had a Venom XR6T at the dealer that looked sh*t hot so I changed my mind.

Westpoint Ford Werribee have a RED XR6T on the showroom floor it looks just as good if not better than all the other colours.

(wonder if i can start getting kickbacks for mentioning there name all the time).

I have a AUII in Venum. Nice colour and fairly easy to keep clean. The only issue I have with my AUII is that the red has a white undercoat. If you do heaps of highway driving then be carefull of the stone chips. I have headlight and bonnet protectors on mine and have done 90,000 in 22months. The bonnet has a number of chips on it... I personaly dont like Acid Rush (but that is only my tates) I went Phantom. You realy need to see them in the Sun to get a full appreciation of the colours. As Acid Rush and Venum are not XR exclusive colours if you keep your eyes pealed you should see a few on the road. Most delers have at least on Acid rush (sedand / Ute or Wagon) in stock.
