Yeah I noticed that. Take it with salt from a man who drives lighter supercars though :)

For a factory car I'm impressed he's impressed!

What's he comparing it to? What he normally drives around Mt Panorama?

I have a friend in Head office that brings around all the new models for evaluation purposes..lol

Top secret stuff..

Hope he doesn't mind pics showing number plates being posted on the intramanet. :surrenderwave:

Of course it needs to be taken in context considering what he has been driving

around there just saying everyone seems to be pointing out how great it sounds etc

I was just pointing out what he said.

Looking at that video id say its definately making more like 350KW @ the fly and not 315 like its stated.

So I wonder what the GT makes at the wheels then?

Without knowing how Herrod's dyno reads it's hard to tell if that figure is good or not. Need a Herrod dyno factory FG Turbo figure at the wheels to compare.

In all of those links to other sites reviewing the FPV' why do they compare them to Euro sports cars that cost at least $100k more? In one of the articles it says that FPV owners can afford Mercs and Beemers. Considering the GS is priced at approx $57k I know I couldn't afford to buy a car any more expensive than $60k, and even that will be a struggle (and no doubt the finance minister will put her foot down!).

I seem to remember not too long ago that all the comparisons were between HSV and FPV and the V8 variants of the HSV were beating FPV hands down. Now that there's a new kid on the block the FPV must be compared to Euro cars costing at least $100k more? Maybe it's a compliment to Ford and FPV?

Anyway, on topic, the car sounds bloody hot going around Bathurst. I think a test drive will be my only option. :surrenderwave:

270rwkw stock is pretty impressive. GT 335 is going to get very close to the 300 mark. If the normal factory tune is nice and rich, im sure these things will be pushing well into the 300's just with a tune.

Should have just waited... :(
