I have been hearing all these things lately from different people in Melbourne about mods that Herrod's are doing. Does anyone know of anything? im very interested to see what they come up with especially for the xr6 turbo. A friend of mine had some work done there with one of his older fords and noticed some major changes, not only that I think these guys are alot more reputable then some of the other mobs out there..

By the way im from the Dandenong area in Victoria. getting my XR6 Turbo very soon, Im getting mine in blood orange.

All I've heard about Herrods are exhaust mods.. nothing more. But I could be wrong..

Spoke to Rob Herrod the other week - they are developing a full mod-kit for the 6T.

Will consist of exhaust, bigger intercooler, bigger radiator, and an ECU modification of some type.

That's all I know for now, but I'm on the list for when it comes out... :)

bigger radiator what for? also what was the rough cost and estimate of performance increase?

bigger radiator what for?

hmm lets see, more kw's = more heat = more cooling required, or something like that I'm sure :)

Ideas, anyone?

Yeah I'd be interested in an exhaust......do you think that the kit (the full kit - exhaust, cooler and ECU mods) they'll offer will be covered under the ford warranty??

Dave.

Speaking to Rob Herrod he said Ford have been really strict on warranty and will not warrant the car for any mods. However he is working with an aftermarket warranty place to fully warrant the drivetrain etc on cars after being modded.
