Since I have had my F6 (2 months) I have noticed how it manages to attract dickheads!!

Even with the wife and child in the back, they will still attempt to force me to speed or race them. Most of the time they are driving Hyundai excels or something similar but almost always they have an exhaust pipe big enough to hide in.

And may I add it not always the younger ones, older blokes with beards seem to have something to prove also, especially in their tradie Ute.

Yes I have the power, yes I know how to use it (many track days and advanced driver training) but there is a time and a place and the busy run to work in the morning is not the time or the place.

I cant remember being like them when I was next to a fast car...I knew it would flog me and make me look pathetic so I didnt bother. Maybe I am too sensible :pinch:

Same thing happens when I ride my motorbike to work...some idjeet will pull alongside me and rev his engine waiting for the lights to change. The bike hits 100k in 3.2 secs! Not even the mighty F6 would stand a chance..but they still are willing to try.

I enjoy pretending to take them on every now and then on my bike and when the lights change I pull away as normal, yet the dickhead fishtails down the road thinking I am alongside him. :beerchug:

Ah well it seems I will need to get used to it cos they always seem to find me, be it first thing in the morning or late at night.

The F6 is magnetic!

I have the same problem in mine, usually early commodores, falcons, even have tools in 4wds try and give you a run. they must just see a nice car and bang its race time. occasionally yeh its fun to have a squirt but not peak hour.

yeah until you get busted for streetracing/hooning and lose your car for 2 days.

Nobody can make you speed or race them, unless you are being attacked. Just ignore them and let them think they could have taken you.

You have nothing to proove. I get it all the time as well, but have learned to not bother. Most of the time they cannot keep up with me anyways as I generally drive briskly.

most of the guys wanting to line me up are the xr8 boys...It's quite funny looking in your rear vision mirror at the face of the driver...thinking wishing he had bought an turbo instead...

Street racing is stupid. You`re better off following them home and beating the crap out of them.
