Same thing happens each year. The most flogged song gets number 1 as it's also the song that goes mainstream and people just come to vote for the song they've heard the most.

Last year was Angus and Julia Stone and Big Jet Plane is a song I never want to hear again. At least this year with Somebody that I use to know it's tolerable.
