dont waste your time cuz I aint listenin :badmood:

Ha me too :P

Hit music blows

Most of the "hit" music sucks too! Most "hit" songs make me want to kill my self. The one doing it for me at the moment is that 'Put a ring on it' song. I swear to god if I ever meet Byonce or how ever you spell her name, I'll take my size 13 and question her about that song.

I flick through radio stations in the car when im over my CD's, and just listen to what ever sounds catchy, and is how I sometimes listen to new songs/bands etc - and yes Triple J is in my radio memory, but I hardly ever listen to it, unless Invaders Must Die is on ;)

A few years ago I remember hearing a "now mainstream" song on triple J. The presenter said that there was a lot of people complaining because it was also played on commercial radio, and the presenter said something beautiful - "That may be so, but we did play them first, and we played them over a year ago, and yet commercial radio has only just 'discovered' them".

I forget the name of the song, but it sums it up nicely, Triple J will take a chance on a song which people may or may not like which is why there is so much sh*t, and yet if a song is popular enough, of course the commercial stations are going to try to get in on the action.

I've heard a lot of good stuff on Triple J that has never made it onto the commercial stations, and I've heard a lot of popular sh*t which has.

Off havin a fap....

That was mentioned in-confidence you bastard

Who really cares what station it is played on and how many people listen to the sh*t, if you like the music then listen, if not then don't.

Too many to mention, I remember some bands going back when most of you guys still had mummy wiping your arses, that would still fill most of the JJJs top 100 of all time..... Go the old farkers FTW :buttrock:

KOL were the number 1 selling album in OZ this year selling 350k copies but only sold 250k albums in USA. Just alittle bit of trivia
