I've read alot of threads on this site regarding oil including Lawsy's full run down and I have a question.I'm going to be VERY specific with this. FPV recommend a 15-40w oil for the F6 typhoon. Many people run a 10-40w, however I want to stick with the recommended oil...The question:WHAT OILS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE RECOMMENDED 15-40w? (not 10-40w)...Cheers.

It is a 15w40 engine oil.Done over 9000kms with that oil and no dramas at all. Two oil samples and everything is trending fine.Good oil if you ask me.

I really don't want to get into it but FPV say if you run anything but this mix then you HAVE voided your warrenty. I know of MANY places, including tune shops, that use non 15-40w oil and seriously don't want to take the risk. If you have tuned/modded your car I can understand because your warranty is void anyways, however those that still have stock cars (and who may get them services by tune shops) don't want someone doing something which may fubar them down the track.
