The car made around 450rwkw before it was stolen - that was my last bit of info on it.

Spiro, that quite OK by me. I did that run a few years ago and it's good to now see others going further than my power levels, or mph at full weight. Stripping weight will make that task easier.

Doubt you'll try a max speed run on street tyres; I wouldn't do it again... just a tad too dangerous.

Julian, I didn't see you post at the time I post. Hub dyno is obviously the most consistent, but it's just another tuning tool.

Brian

I have known you for a long time Brian and consider you a friend, I will gladly lend you my slick's for a pass I hope you know this. :omg:

Running a car on street tires to ascertain mph is one thing :beerchug: however you are blessed with 380mm rotors & Alcon 6piston calipers at the same time... Run that mph with XF front brakes and we will discuss this subject again.......

My goal has always been as stated in my thread 10sec not mph, so you should ask yourself a very important question......... Have I or we been running at full noise???? :spoton:

My goal has NEVER been to run a 10sec manual pass, as stated many times.

I started a project in 2004 to have a 1000HP(600rwkw) Ford, because I had the means to do so, and to set another benchmark, at a time when very few people had 300rwkw.

I'll be more than happy for you to reach your goals, and set new benchmarks.

I'm quite attached to my 6-pot Alcons, thank you, and stopping from a big mph with taxi brakes is not something I have any desire to do.

Relax, if you make more than that with the precision 76, I will surrender without change's, is that fair? However you will need to do it on the same dyno as me, as well, you choose the dyno... Do we have a deal? :roflmbo:

Ok I have set of 18 . But I have some 26 inch for u .Im ready to roll :beerchug:

lol I have had fun reading this thread :) hopefully I can show some good times on the 15th of next month. would be interesting to see how much hp my xr would make with a manual as the c4 and big converter steal alot of power, or even how much it would make on the rollers if it would just get traction lol :( but then again should be alot better for the strip. will see all you guys in bris next month. cant wait for the awesome day :roflmbo:
