I have my insurance with RACV in victroia and I am 23 years old and I paid $850 for my full comp insurnace last month, and you can do any mods as long as they are vicroads\rta\epa compliant

I'm sure NRMA still dont offer insurance to engine modded cars as I called them last year and they said no to me. RACV is the best value for under 25s with NO mods. Under 25s with engine mods need Just Cars.

Mac Daddy, please tripple check with NRMA and see if chips/injectors etc will be insured and if so let us know becuase under $1000 for an under 25 with mods is soooo cheap and lots of us would go for it if its true....

mahoy, RACV said they would not continue to insure me (this year) once I got my unichip and they even checked with their manager to make sure of it...

I spoke to RACV just before and they said as long as any mods are not illegal they will be covered.

I explained to them what the edit is and what it does and they were fine with that.

well I paid a fair bit of insurance on my F6.. rating 3, 21yrs old.. $2870, im gonna call NRMA now..

I pay $1500 for my Xr6 T I am 25 and I am in syd!! well that's the Problem there!!

if I was in brisbane! it would b $800 and it's with AAMI that's the best price I could get!! and that's with rating 1!!

I have been hearing ads on MMM for NRMA about guaranteeing beating any other insurance companies quotes for  New>2yo cars.

I called about that!! they will only beat $20 less then the other company quotes!!.

I'm with NRMA fleet and they said as long as it's legal, they will insure it.

They will also cover drunk drivers and terrorisim

ok after an hour on the phone today I found out mods will be accepted by them providing that they are not worth more than the car, are legal, they have to be listed on the policy. the way they do this is by putting it under accesories to the car or something. only down side is in the event of a claim I can only get what the car is insured for plus 8g total for accesories not matter what they are worth.
