Ok here is what I need to know,

Im 32 just about 33 and have decided to get an 06 or 07 XR6T A6. What is the best price insurance wise out there you have?

I called around as online quotes vary to much. nrma were $1100 , ung $1200, gio were $1180 BUT QBE who I am currently with covering my 03 STI were $740 and im shocked.

My other question is a guys son I know works at a ford service center and he was BRIEFLY saying that the new XR6T FG model has some over boost system I think it was 10% for 10 seconds or something along that line the mobile was breaking up abit.

He also told me not to buy ex cop car as they ruin the suspension in the rear bushes and stress fracture some frame part from all the island jumping they do.

I get $800 a year full comp from shannons and they dont mind mods.

As for the other two questions, yes I believe they do have an overboost on the FG and buying cop cars like any 2nd hand car is pot luck, just get them check out before you buy.

I bought my '06 a month ago for $19000, ZF, premium sound and 90000 (highway obviously) kms. Its a July build so it has the typhoon internals too :biglaugh:

Im happy with it......

yeah lack of info sorry guys,

its just the base package , no premium sound or leather, I live in the hunter area maitland way. that's for agreed value of $29900. with the added mod of a exhaust system.

after having 3 rexies and the STi im over modding but would do a base tune after an exhaust just a small kick over stock and any DIY mods.
