May 27, 201214 yr #91 update, I can see about half a teaspoon of oil in the line so seems to be doing its job
May 27, 201214 yr #92 Did you put use a one way valve in the line to the intake, to stop the catch can pressurising under boost?
May 27, 201214 yr #93 Nope, should I?I havent seen any change in performance or psi loss on the boost gauge
July 7, 201214 yr #95 Got my catch can today while supercheap had 20% off.Quick tip for anyone else buying one, make sure all the fittings are in the box (can doesn't come fully assembled)First can I got had no "calibre" written on the side which I was happy about, but only had one of the 10mm hose fittings. Took it back and had to open 4 boxes before there was a complete one,and going by the sticker on the box they were all from a different batch too. Pretty sh*t for a product that's also kept in a locked cabinet.
January 29, 201313 yr #97 Slap welded together a catch can at work friday. Picked up some speedflows and 1 way valve, run some 3/8 hose and now no more horrible oily intake. Win
January 29, 201313 yr #98 Looks good HYPEDF6, what type of s/f fitting is that going onto the rocker cover? Is it a snug fit like the ford rubber elbow or just sitting there?
October 23, 201312 yr #100 Can anyone confirm if the supercheap 'calibre' catch can will fit in the engine bay near the brake booster on an fg like they do on a b series? It looks to be a fair bit tighter on an fg.
