oh and peeps, dont night shade your rear number plate. po po wernt happy when one of my nuffy mates decided to try it on on his. lol.

Yeah mate, not gonna happen.

I'll try tinting the outside but if it looks gay got a G6 set to throw in.

But if anyone want to trade there 50th's happy to pay for em.

If you take your tail lights to a panel beaters the painters there (If they know what they are doing) should be able to mix up a clear tint they can spray on the outside which will save you pulling your tail lights apart and will still be glossy and be done properly.

The tint will also peel off (eventually) from the inside if you do it the other way as paint does not stick to plastic well. You need to clean it with wax and grease remover and then apply a clear plastic adhesive primer so that the tint will stick, you can get all this stuff in pressure packs if you want to do it yourself but wpuld turn out heaps better if done proffessionally but to each their own. :dwarf:

Ive been wanting to do this to my ute since I got it new, I tryed the tint film, but was to thick and did not mould very well, also when u buy off ebay people cant tell u how thick it is because they have no clue, so im now thinking about the vht nite shandes can, I rang a few panel shops but they were hopeless and had no idea

what should I dooooo

A guy on here has tinted taillights on his ute, maybe they are easier to pull apart then the sedan, looked good.

dont have to pull your lights apart at all. ive sprayed my f6 and utes tail lights on the outside and it comes up good.

Pics? When I did it it looked ok, wouldn't say it looked very professionally and that's the look they guys are going for.

Spotted a limo today with them done, looked mint 100% sold now.
