Here's an awesome slideshow depicting a 'then and now' of the locations used in the film. Also, the www.fordcoupeclub.org did a run in 2010 and their write-up is a great guide on how the day was enjoyed by all.

Thanks for putting up that link, pretty crazy how much some of it has (or hasn't) changed since the movie!

Some locations will be drive-bys and some will be short halts (13 locations) for photo opportunities with a lunch break planned at Little River (the tenth halt).

As you drive up to 'S' there's a big yard on the right halfway up the hill with a heap of earthmoving equipment in it, the truck that was used in the scene where Max is trying to pass it at location 'S' is probably still in that yard as it's still owned by the same guy (the yard not sure on the truck). I have a shot of my first XR6T at this location somewhere but I'll be buggered if I know where it is now....
