About the Mt Buller cruise, this could be a goer on Sunday 29 May if peeps are interested. Will be up the Hume Fwy, down the Targa route Whitfield to Mansfield, up to Mt Buller (the route itself is also a Targe route) and back to Mansfield, late lunch Mansfield, then home via Black Spur (could be a bit busy and dark on the way home that time of year so may change that to go via Wallan instead). I've checked for events around Mt Buller, Mansfield and Marysville and there seem to be none that weekend. VicRoads say no road works either (though a member who's a local up that way may want to comment). Weather is a bit suss as always at that time of year but can't help that - if it's good it's good - if its rain, we'll prolly cancel the cruise (too many twisties).

So, if there's enough interest I'll start a new thread

I'm thinking we may do the Buller cruise in Sep if there is no spring snow left or early Oct at this stage. In May we'll be doing the Winton V8 Super cars day trip. June, July and Aug are not really good for cruises up into the mountains. We may do something close to the coast in June - I'm thinking one of my fave runs out to Wonthaggi for June - 2 sets of twisties and lunch at the Wonthaggi miners pub.

So here's the proposal - and subject to change depending on what others want to do:

May - Sat 21 May - V8 Supercars in Winton

June - Date TBA - Wonthaggi possibly

July - ?

Aug - ?

Sep - Date TBA - Mt Buller Run possibly

Oct - Date TBA - Mt Baw Baw Run possibly

Nov - Date TBA - Combined States Snowy Mountains Cruise (3 days)

Dec - Date TBA - Christmas Cruise

Jan - ?

Feb - Date TBA - Great Ocean Road Cruise

Mar - Date TBA - VIC Alpine Cruise (2 days)

Apr - ?
