Will Fpv Have A G6et Based Car Up It's Sleeve?

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I've spent any decent amount of time on this forum. Fantastic reading up on how many of you guys and your cars have been going. If you've seen me logged on - blame Joshua my 10 year old - he's used my log-in and reading up heaps. He reckons I'm boring at bat-sh*t and need to start modding my car again...

Anyway, a question for any of you who may be in the know. The G6E Turbo is the luxo versin of the T - will FPV be releasing a luxo version of the F6? Seems like a logical thing to have up it's sleeve. I know I'd order one....

Cheers

arent FPV putting out a GT-E? its a FPV version of the G6ET isnt it?

But that will probably be a V8

Hi Dave, and good to see you back as well :surrenderwave: To answer your question the G6E T will be the only luxo barge Ford will offer and it has a huge wrap from Wheels magazine ( must be true ) to boot and more than adequately fulfills this niche.

The Phoon and F6X will be the only I6Ts offered by FPV. Given the sales failure of the Force6 cant see it any other way.

BTW cant believe the young fella's 10 already

I thought the GT-E was based on the GT - isnt it a V8?

The presenter at the Perth Motor Show kept on harping on about a souped up FPV vehicle based on the G6E, I'm positive he said it was going to be based on the V8.

Lightning....

That would be the GT-E < E being the Luxo models in the ford and FPV line up.

Hey thanks heaps. Yeah I saw the write-ups, which is great, but at the end of the day this is an XR6T with a suit on. What about those people wanting the power of the F6, without the in your face look? The Force 6 was an ugly mishmash of a car that was destined for failure from day one.

Hey, yesterday was 3 years to the day since you helped out on my big day....and 3 phantom beasts were my wedding cars. I really appreciated that mate.

Hows life for you mate?
