I just spent an hour finishing my shed pad. Only saved $600 overall by doing it myself and the work I did averaged out to about $30ph in savings. 2005 called, they want their wages back.

That sounds like me doing my own mechanical work... always takes me ages so the calculation ends up being a waste of time as I know I'll be disappointed with the outcome, from a financial perspective haha

Eh I'm not mad about it, I got to drive a digger for a couple days and saved $600. Not everything is about time vs money otherwise the missus making bread cost about $40 per loaf lol

Indeed... only go by the calculations that work on your favour :) my "labour" cost to work on my car would never be worth it and I should just pay a local mechanic to do any work :)
