Main reason I want to upgrade is for better boost control. With 17psi of spring in the gate I could control the boost the whole way from 17psi up to 40psi. I suspect it was boost creeping the final 5 to 7 psi to hit 40 though. With 22psi of spring in the gate the lowest I could get on 98 was 25psi and the lowest it would run on E85 was 28psi. I would like to run 22psi of spring for a gate only 98 tune of about 475awkw, which I'll have a much better chance of doing with a bigger gate.

Here's some pics of my 50mm gate cos we all like pics;

Can the new style wastegates be pulled apart to service? Reason I ask is I have one of their new style FPR's and although it has a locking collar you will never get it off. They used the Loctite that needs heat to get it loose, thereby destroying the diaphragm and seals.

Yea I'm 99% certain that nearly every part of the genV is replaceable. It is very easy to disassemble. Google the genV wastegate and download a manual for one of them to see. They've made it easy to service

Fark me that spidey had a farken turbo boost from the heat. Farker was hiding behind the visor again, leaped off and bolted through the car like a maniac.

I got him out the car with some paper so TF for that :yikes:
