if it was was so easy, then why hasn't Expensive Daewoo bothered building a TT?

Expensive Daewoo did do it, it was in the pink Torana concept a few years back, the problem is, their V6 is a piece of sh*t - that and they have access to massive V8's from the states ie the new W427 7.0L LS7, so they don't need to

Bloody greenies and tree huggers have caused all this. BURN THEM ALL I SAY. Cars, especially high performance cars, were designed to be powerede by high octane petrol, and the I6 will die because it can't economically reach some theoretical IPCC emission limit. Check out the US EPA website and see what the real nonsense about all this global warming is about, it is climate change not global warming, a naturally occuring event, and vehicle C02 emissions has nothing to do with it. Paying billions of dollars to the IPCC and losing our sweet engines at the same time DISGUSTING. 20,000 of the worlds top scientists trying to get the truth out and 19 sponsored by the UN ensuring it won't happen. HOW BIG IS YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT. Who cares C02 is our friend not our enemy

To see more on my rant above go the article here http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?Fus...teReport#report

Apparently at the global warming summit in Bali 400 of the worlds top scientists called it a sham and a farce, and tens of thousands of others agreed while our new git of a environment minister commited billions of our tax dollars away and the mainstream media ignored the scientists I can now understand why Howard and Bush wern't prepared to wasted billions of dollars of our hard payed taxes on this Global Warming nonsense. Still never let the truth get in the way of a good story A

Absofrickenlutely

It’s quite an eye opener reading some of the real research - not the glossy brochures pumped out by those with agendas.

But we’ve now signed Kyoto so it will be all good

we can all make a stand guys - just go out and find a few items such as: the biggest turbo your engine can accommodate, likewise inectors and a hammer and pole to knock out your cat! Now go to your tuner and get him to dial in as much power as possible with the richest possible mixture.

There you have it, your own rolling protest to Global Warming! Enjoy!

But I already have, well almost, just give me a few more weeks :tonguepoke:

Just peeves me we are facing another Y2K crock but on a much bigger scale. I believe in saving whales and preserving forests and all those things, but I don't agree with it being done from behind some money making hidden agend, especially if I'm threatened with ending up in some hideous imitation of a car like a Prious or whatever they are called. Octane. Kilowatts, and Truth :Sug1:

Well, actually, that's another if Big Kev's illusions.

They didn't actually sign Kyoto. All he did, we to pick up Howard's initiave from APEC where he got USA and China to agree looking at a new, acheivable and unbiased protocol.

What Rudd signed was an agreement to come up with a new agreement by 2010. The new agreement is said to simply extend green hous gas targets to whatever those that sign it are already acheiving. In other words, it makes it look like they're all doing the right thing, while they really have to do stuff all.

This crap is all one huge farce, yet the mooron majority have fallen for it hook line and sinker.

Well that's good news, at least we are not going to throw fortunes is our taxes down the gurgler for no reason at all. Still doesn't help with the death of the I6 though. :spoton:

The question is, when in earths histoy have these changes happened so QUICKLY. ??

And lets see how long you last on a nice rich CO2 diet.

Also lets take into account the huge amount of land clearing happening world wide....

And while we are at it, even if we do clean up our environment, and the climate still warms, despite the billions of dollars, we still win. There can be no losing when you have a clean and green planet.

And yes I do drive a fuel guzzler xr8 .... :spoton:
