Hey Guys, Nice forum - well layed out

Iv just bought a second hand BA Mk2 Typhoon 6sp manual

It came with a bolt up turbo back 3" system I think its a Jun BL not sure what CPI the cat is

I was expecting around 210 - 220 rwkw standard and to my surprise it only made 185 which was the best of 4 power runs

it running very rich , to the best of my knowledge it hasn't got a edit or anything

any ideas on whats gone wrong its making about 6- 7 psi .. im getting the run data tomorrow but this is way down on what I was expecting . iv spoken to a few people and a 3" dump pipe was'nt the best choice for the previous owner

if anyone has any ideas please let me know

and no idea, although I do feel your pain.....nothing worse than real life being so much more disappointing than expectation

reading this site most are around 220 - 230 kw you can see this thing pumping raw fuel out when on the dyno

do theese things loose power when changing from a stock exhaust to a full 3" system without tuning

Where are you located ??

Do not take it to Ford, they will have trouble diagnosing low washer fluid. Get one of the forum tuners to have a look.

Sounds like it is running a stock tune on bigger injectors, but there could be 50 things that could cause the problems.

Im in Adelaide , iv sent capa a email re their flash tuners but that's not a proper fix is it

Any ideas on who to take it to, iv had some places mentioned to me but I wana hear your thoughts

KPM, Morpowa & willall have been mentioned

its only got 30,000 on it and looks fairly stock apart from the exhaust

all three of them are good mte willal aka street tuner is the man if you need trouble shooting,what were the afr's?

from memory around 12/1 13/1 but id have to check tomorrow when I get the sheets , cheers 4 the advice

Well I dont think a simple flash is guna fix my problem , I was wrong before the AFR's are at about 9.5/1

I have included the lowest run of the 4 done (this was the last run) I spoke to a tuner today and he loooked at the data on the comp and said the boost cure looked ok but the afr's were really bad and even looked as if it was missing, the dyno operater said it didnt feel as if it missed
