Used ADT Mobile Mechanics (As recommended above by Ross) for the first time this week for my Typhoon's 30k service.

Allan turned up on time, did a great job, stamped my book, and presented me with a bill fractionally under $200.

Am I pleased - Oh yes!

I dealt with Dave Hughs at Midway Ford Midland the other day regarding a number of warranty issues. He solved all of them to my surprise and he certainly knows his job. I would certainly recomend to go see him specifically.

On the other hand I took the car to Midway Ford about a year ago and dealt with this other guy (who is still there) and he didnt solve the two major warranty issues that had and put up with since the car was new. He came up with bull sh*t excuses and this guy has a bit of a sh*t attitude.

Now the BA Fairmont is quite a nice car to drive with no vibration and no spongy brake pedal.

I spoke to the guy at Centre Ford who I always deal with, and told him about the issues I had with Nuford Wangara... after which he goes "yeah I'm moving up there in a month..." I said noooooooooooooooooooo don't do it!!! But he assures me he will be pulling them into line, and sorting out the issues with costing. Not sure whether to go there in the future or not, but I guess someone has to be the guinea pig! At least I know his service attitude is excellent, and the price is something to be aggreed upon before handing over the keys...

But it's the principle of the thing, I just can't bring myself to go to Nuford!

Who's going up there Steve? Is it the service manager, Geoff? He's always done right by me.

Good friendly service with excellent mechanics.

Do I sound a bit biased, well maybe I am as our Territory Turbo Ghia is in there this week getting new injectors and tune.

As a side benefit Hanson, the owner, has lent me his own XR6T whilst ours is in the workshop.

ps: his XR6T makes around 460RWHP.
