and you do ?? Sorry but how can you say that , there are literally heaps of members who have gone from Chimp to edit with an overwhelming majority reporting better midrange  It is not all about peak power , it is how it is delivered. Not to mention other functionality

Until a both products are tuned by the same tuner with equal experience at getting the most out of either, comparisons will never be accurate.

As my posted stated unichip is clearly capable of power delivery, mid range and top end.

A tuner could just as easily remove an edit and retune with unichip or any other piggyback device making more power at less boost.

If I was to front up to Autotech in the morning I would probably go with the APS hardware :spoton: But the unichimp... I'd take the edit and get what I could for the chip... simple. Why would Autotech bother with edit if the Unichimp did it all :puke:

They supply both because customs demand different solutions.

Until you have experience in tuning both devices then it's best not to make definative statements about what either can do when compared to the other.

You should take a leaf out of your own book and not open your mouth about either as you have'nt used edit outright or any other tuner to compare so leave it upto us who have :censored:

Unichip is quite capable of delivering boost at low rpm. Its more a question of the tuners ability or their goals in tuning that will see what power levels any unichip equipped car will be capable of.

Unijip cant even control idle speed

For the record a unichip car was the first to make a 10 second pass and that was near 2 years ago.

Yes C&V's own car who are the best drag racer's in Sydney and every car since that has beat there time have been powered by EDIT :tease:

The fact Autotech have tuned the quickest F6 with edit tells a story. A chimp dealer, not selling a chimp, and getting results..

How many cars are running Unichip these days from a choice of the two systems when shopping at Autotech??

Geeseman, can you overlay FSIXs'/Spoolmans' dyno graph against yours for us, you make the same peak power???

That wouldn't be fair, unless Spoolmans ( himself ) timeslip was posted with Geesemans, they both admit to not being the best drivers, but we're not on about driver ability..

They have vastly different mods, same peak power, different management, same tuner, same dyno.

It's pretty easy to throw up a spreadsheet with Geesemans V FSIX, both graphs are widely available on the Autotech forums..

Wondering if the two had been compared on the dyno screen and printed out, to save 5 mins work..

Then again, I'll be back in 5 mins...

How hard can it be there auto's and if you cant drive and your not interested in times why would you put in a stall converter

As we know a high dyno sheet does not make it a quick car top end power figures mean little

Um , I think I get the picture. EDIT it is, enough already , really didn't want this hijacked. Why not start on tuners next , mine is better than yours or are we all from the same tune house?
