Heaps of different prices... Spool is cheaper. FG F6 short with some fat rods is even cheaper.

IMHO a FG F6 short for ~$3500 is the best bang for buck

spool is close with ~$7k

atomic short 698 ~$8k

build your own.... It all depends how far you want to go but if you start with a wrecker block or your old unit with outsourcing machine work, buying and assembling your self will come in around 2-3k

it all depends how far you want to go ...

Wtf???

Mate until 2months ago I have never looked into a i6T I was 1000% holden. No throwing bottle now lol.

Matty u mite just become my new best friend lol.

Obviously  my block in ok, so good pistons rods maybe cam would be the better/cheaper option?

Yeah fg f6 short goes pretty hard

The price for my build will be all about how far I feel like going, Considering main cap girdles and such and that instantly bumps the price up another $500

No need for a cam on these. just upgrade to the FG profile cams will be more than ok

Im mainly doing this to learn myself so expect lots of questions

So fg xr or f6 short block over getting internals done on my current block im guessing!

Current blocks done over 200k

Im hoping to push towards 650+rwhp one day and keep it as a toy.

My biggest problem is.. im only good for doing an oil change lol.

Would love to know a bit about working on my engine ?

Have a read of the threads in hnyar http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/forum/122-engine-workshop/ if you want a "starting point" of knowledge on engine work.
