paint looks good from far but is far from good. lol. has a bit of rust etc that needs a bit of tlc but priority is go before show.

Yeh, they were really surprised when they found out that the insurance company sent us there, they thought we might have requested them. They said they don't really get as much insurance work because they're expensive, I think the insurance company realised that it would cost them less to get it done right the first time, rather than have to pay for a second respray because I wasn't happy with the first.

My insurer ar the time, RAC, had me send my car back to the same shop for repainting after they scratched the rear bar reversing it into something, and to fix the electrical problems (ie no indicators) which I found. They said they have to give the shop a chance to fix it first before going to another shop to get it done again...I'd say to save the insurance mob $ on paying twice! :/

Car needs a full respray anyway, too many stone chips hahaha...would love to go rich blue colour. Would love the $ to get it done too haha..

Valentines day FTMFL.

All I wanted was to go out for dinner and have a killa steak. Valentines day is a WOFTAM but off we go to a supposedly decent Grill at Hillarys were I order nice medium / rare bit of moo cow. 45 minutes later slab of dead moo moo arrives, blue as can be. Still better to be blue than well done until I realise that its gone stone cold, dry as a nuns **** and been reheated in the microwave lol. mrs had the same and the chef couldnt see a problem. Still had to pay for the meals!

We didn't do sh*t for v day, was awesome! She thinks it's just a commercial excuse to spend $ and I agreed. Just spent the day sleeping until 3 then cleaned the pig sty up a bit and ate dinner! good day hahaha.
