I had my XR6T insured with AAMI and our other cars are insured with AAMI too. Made a claim with them where I was at fault and did not have any issues and premium did not change either. Had the XR6T insured for 22k and it was about $650/year from memory. Address or garaged location has a lot to do with premium as well.

Interesting thing about the location is when I shifted from the burbs to the hills my premium went up $30/mo. The car was more secure (on 553 acre property behind powered locked security gates with cameras, 2km from the road to the house) in the hills than it was in the burbs..go figure.

I did the same, moved from Hamilton Hill to up near mundaring...reimbursed $50 or so from memory! What the. Same deal, lock up garage.

I miss the new car smell now, it's faded in the last year or so. Car is 4 years old now though so have to expect it. Still does a mean skid gets me from A to B really well.

Our house is probably 4 weeks from completion and we've just had to buy a few things and spend far too much coin so as a result I am both financially and time poor for the next 6 weeks. After that, who knows but 2 new cars could be on teh agenda
