Whoever was driving that Bionic that passed me yesterday on the Lachlan Valley Highway, real sorry you got booked man..

I have driven that road about 500 times and never seen any of the boys in blue..

I was kinda lucky I was pullin a horse float with my T, otherwise im sure I would have been pulled up right next to ya!

Hope he didnt get you for more than 10 over..

I have learnt to use cruise control as much as possible, the ole T just wants to FLY otherwise..

Tell me we've not all given our cars a bit and gone over the speed limit at some stage, better over on a highway than on a suburban street if you're gonna do it.

Just unlucky with the cops, wrong place at the wrong time that's all.

btw I never speed on suburban streets since a 7yo ran out in front of my car while doing 40k's in a 60k zone which I'd previously done at 70k's, just lucky I didn't that day as I had a split second to stop. The girl survived with a broken leg but could have been a different story with a bit more pace.

This sh*t happens and I never thought it would happen to me, felt like total sh*t for weeks and drive like a granny with my eyes peeled on suburban streets since.

Sorry to here that mate, must have had a guardian angel that day. You do tend to slow down a bit after you pick your kids up from school and see what wankers actually drive like in built up areas.

I nearly got done SUnday night - I was doing 90kmh in an 80 zone as far as my speedo in the work car (XT) was saying, and I spent at least 200m out of 400m of straight road doing that in full view of a laser gun, I gingerly took my foot off the gas and slowed to 80kmh and passed the officers by, and they continued to aim up the street at a couple of cars behind me. Thank god for the 10% tolerance. I'd say I was actually doing 87kmh by the time you take out the 3kmh error in the speedo.

I just hope that the fact that the copper had a mk2 xr8.. he pulled him over to discuss how good the BAs are...

geo - that is one of my worst fears driving.. either hitting a pedestrian or a cyclist...

I witnessed a cyclist get run over was not pretty, had to make a statement and everything.. the guy ended up with a triple fracture to his pelvis, a tire would do that to anyone..he was lucky it was only a little Hyundai Excel, could have been alot worse..

I used to live in country Wangaratta and public transport is pretty much non-existent there (compared with Melbourne). So, I used to ride my bicycle everywhere. It would be good 15-20 min ride from home to school one way (from memory). Anyway, I got clipped on the handle bars by some hoon in a white Expensive Daewoo commodore (I think - once again, memory a bit hazy) and I went ass over head. Good thing he was wasn't going that fast (well - I really could not tell as he came up from behind but the fact that I'm here to write this probably means he was not going that fast). To this day, I don't know who it was (he drove off the head) or why he did it...
