I know what you mean about the torque all coming on at once.

Don’t kid yourself, and keep it in perspective.

Spiro makes about 50% more torque, and in a far narrower rev band than your car, and will hit incredibly hard. It’s a different level of performance.

The huge turbo he runs will bring power on far harder than the stock turbo, and that will cause far more stress on all drivetrain components than would otherwise be the case.

I strongly recommend that you put dowel pins in that flywheel, for your own safety.

You’re now making very good power, and loooking at the graph provided there’s still more top end potential to be realized.

I am not 'taking the piss' here, but it seems like Spiro's car almost lives like the good ol fashioned 'All or Nothing' Turbocars (obviously due to Turbo size of a small planet and huge boost).

My real query is, what is it like being launched by this at full noise. I can imagine it IS like being hit in the back with a sledgehammer

It has only been launched once by myself at the track with street slicks at it broke everything at 10psi so whump with bang!!!!!!!

I drove the car last night it was scary to say the least I was taking the prospect highway turn in to the M4 changed into 3rd gear easy and decided to give it a boot full in 3rd on the auto for a top end charge what I didn't expect is what followed at about 5500rpm and 25psi the tyres just let go at 135kmph being unexpected when it stepped out it was very scary at that speed.

To be honest anything over 620rwhp on the street is overkill to say the least, but what the heck cant turn back now.

Thanks brian, but my comment was in relation to the failure of components in my experience and power level (hence it's my comment). Given this Im more than able to provide some empathy for his understanding.
