Not very gutter friendly as a few members have found out and have since relocated it

It's inside the guard so it never gets hit by the gutter

Mine is mounted in the front grill behind the Ford logo, in front of my APS intercooler. We tried it there to see what effect it would have on the intercooler, but there is no noticable difference in performance or back to back heat soak tests and the auto trans cooler gets plenty of air in that spot.

It sits a good inch and a half infront of the intercooler so plenty of air can flow around it. I also have the intercooler water spray kit fitted to the ute so a jet sprays water on it to help with the cooling effect.

xrdreaming,

What model cooler is your's ? I have the SS induction flanges that collect the air for the intake so I will need to remove them as they sit where the cooler is, what is the actual size of the oil cooler ?

Yeah but that is the old stock cooler. I now have the phase III intercooler.

I assume the stock unit has crap cheap paint that comes off with slight nicks from stones and the like.

Doesnt the T already have an oil cooling coil in front of the radiator? Would an oil cooler effectively replace this with another radiator for more colling surface area?
