Just thought you'd all want to know that there is an article saying that the clutch issue has been sorted and it's all systems go on the "phoon". :spoton:

Sorry but I cannot sacn and post the article, so if someone could scan it to help out that would be good for all.

that's excellent news.

Does the article discuss what the fix was?

Seems like it came sooner tahn what most expected, it seemed like there was no fix in the pipeline a few days ago.

Spoke of a new clutch plate set up and the fact that they are happy with the result and that existing customers would also be contacted. :spoton:

Finally. All Ford need is some good times out of it now to give sales a push.

Dunno why Ford/FPV have to spend so long on "durability testing" for the clutch fix. Just give a F6 with "fixed" clutch to Motor for a couple of days, if they don't break it then the "fix" is a success. Obviously Ford/FPV's testing process is flawed going by the number of defects such as shuddering brakes and noisey diffs that make it through to the production cars.
