Bought a new cotton jacket and got it signed by all the Ford drivers (now put away in the wardrobe).Anyway, I was talking to one of the Ford Managers and he said that the Govt has pre-empted another kW war before the treehuggers and do gooders start bleating, and quietly put the hard word on the car companies again (al la phase 3 HO). Go over 300kW and you lose your govt contracts. If this is actually the case it doesn't leave much room for the rumoured AWD Supercharged BA GTHO But then again, I got 380fwkw and easily rubbed an R8 clubbie into the ashphalt yesterday . So who gives a toss?

KW have been stradily increasing over the past 10 years (the VP Clubbie made a huge 185KW remember!), its only a matter of time before the govt puts the stops on.Just leaves the gate swingin for the aftermarket mobs!

They could stick to the 300kw limit, just like the japs stuck to the 208kw limit  They might even make a trackpack version for CAMS license holders, anyone can get a 2S license, its only $80 and that would shut the tree huggers up.I think you will see something from Ford that IS a limited edition as the GT and GT-P's are not limited and thus will not hold or appreciate in value, but a limited run of say 1,000 GTHO's would be a good investment.

I hope you are right zapxr6t. A HO to play with would be nice.

Cheers Rick, this dosen't suprise me either , maybe why GTS stayed at 300,the power war could be over before its really begun, Howard and greenies and co should just bugger off and let us have some fun, party poopers, wont worry you though, you have the GTHO now.

All of the Politicians lie to all of the people all of the time, how else could you please everyone Maybe FMC could donate a new HO to every party so they could get further away from the people even quicker

Needing to have a CAMS licence won't make any difference (since when does the media let the facts get in the way of a good story?).How hypocritical of the pollies seeing as how most of them drive around in V8s.So what's stopping anybody with enough cash importing a 300kw+ Euro rocketship?

Exactly, why bring out another model and call it a HO if it only had 10kw's more The Ho needs to be a ball tearer that does easy 12's down the quarterThe GTHO is only a rumour, and now Geoff's gone it is history...
