:spit:

That was my reaction when you offered me the keys too Shanus....but then you were rather intoxicated and on a scent at the time so you probably can't remember too much!

only the missus, and I must admit it's strangely arousing seeing my girl spanking it down the freeway onramp...

:spit:

 glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks that way....

I let some ppl drive my car but with conditions, I drive your car first (if its worth while driving) if not you got no chance driving the T, and two, you crash it you bought it but make sure its a write off.

The only people that have driven mine are Mum and Dad (oh a mate that stole it once) apart from that no one else can or will unless I trust them no matter how many times they ask.

I let my dad drive it around when im away working. But he only takes it out of every fortnight or so. Just to make sure everything is working :spoton:

I felt bad for my mate one day so I let him drive. He owns a starlet hahahahaha. He wouldnt take it past 4k rpm xD

sounds wierd but I want my mum to take it for a spin and see her boot it :D But she gets scared with me driving down onramps. But still. No one else except a mate who also has a xr6t. When I have a few more mods. show him waht hes missing out on.

my misses drives it as a daily driver but she also has a 351 xy so is ok with power

I'd let any of my mates drive it as I'd trust then with anything I owned(I have good mates)

I will never let the brother in law drive it cause he wouldn't respect a push bike

The only people who have driven my car are SWMBO and an old friend who just happens to be our Local Area Command traffic sergeant. He thought 290rwkw would be helpful (his words) on the job! But he prefers the new VE SS's.

Somehow I ended up here after following a search result for "shift light"... but while im here...

When I was about 17 (2001) my dad was nice enough to let me have an un-used ute from work.. was his business so all was cool... all I had to do was put fuel in it... It was a VS II Commodore "S" 5ltr... which I never really did much hooning in.. much... (btw I never was a Expensive Daewoo nut)

Had some mates over one night, lent a trusted one the ute to hit the 7-11 for supplies, he got a lift to mine so didnt have his own car.. On the way back, over the slightest crest, he was going fast enough for the car to lift and it landed unhappy and slid sideways and hit a telegraph pole... there was a main roundabout only another 30metres down the road so something had to slow him down...

He never told me what really happened, but he claims the stuff he bought fell on the floor and he reached over to get it and wasnt looking... LIES!

Lucky for him the front corner of it took the pole, and not the drivers side door.. because the front was hit, Rather than coming to an ouchy stop, it set it into a spin so there was no major impact and he was fine, except he needed new underoos..

He rang me, and I shot down there.. the thermo fan was 30 metres down the road... the guards had ridden 3-4 inches up the A pillars, the engine was put into the firewall.. the car looked like shovel face...

My parents were in cairns at the time and werent too happy... strangely the tow truck driver, and cop that showed up both knew my dad...

My punishment was driving a hyundai excel for the next 2 years... thankfully I saved enough fuel $ to buy myself an XR..
