Actually I thought most of the comments were relevant (except for getting Centuras down the strip in 11's etc) considering they are discussing 'Bang for bucks'. Most of the suggestions were for track cars, not a shiny new air conditioned cruise control power steering traction control etc road car that does 11's at a reasonable price (xr6t's?) By the way, what does one have to do to be baned from that forum?

Don't take this the wrong way, but when you say they don't fit- exactly how don't they fit? Do they hit the caliper or not sit flat on the hub or won't the studs line up? Do you have hub centric rings still on your hubs?

My BA turbo ute that usually has 10psi and 290rwkws has dropped back to 7psi and less power. It has injectors, valve springs, monza cooler, hi-flow cat, ubp, plazaman piping kit, cai and normally goes well. Recently it lost power but still runs well (ie; smoothly,starts well, revs cleanly). So I checked all plumbing, new gapped iridium plugs, new air filter, lubed boost solenoid. No difference! I recently trailered my son-in-laws Calais (that felt good) a couple of hundred klms, but not too quickly. The problems started around that time. Is it likely the catalytic converter has gone to greener pastures? Any other likely causes?

A spanner he may be, but he has the ears of many uninformed people. Although old Harold and his crew are a bunch of neo-*beep* dictators they make a lot of noise. Some of these minority groups are actually listened to by the government because they are organised, persistent and continually put out press releases telling all who will listen of the dangers of bull bars, high performance cars etc and anything that comes into their heads at the time. They are not elected but actually qualify for government grants and sometimes are asked for comment on pending traffic regulation alterations. There is probably not much you can do about his group other than to discredit his organisation wherever possible. Perhaps Harold and Rev Fred Nile can form their own wackers club, perhaps with luck in another country.

Just remembered, check the centre hole diameter. You may need a fitting ring to make them hub-centric (they should sit on the centre ring for support, not on the studs). I can't remember the standard centre diameter.

Falcon stud pattern is 5 x 114.3 pcd (pitch circle diameter) Offset for AU-BF sedans is +36, so +38 is a tiny difference that means they will be wider inwards (towards the brake disc) by 2ml.

Most of the air that is drawn in to your pod filter is ex-radiator, it must be at least 40deg c warmer than ambient air drawn from front of vehicle.

The only people who have driven my car are SWMBO and an old friend who just happens to be our Local Area Command traffic sergeant. He thought 290rwkw would be helpful (his words) on the job! But he prefers the new VE SS's.

My injectors arrived today (we don't get a mail delivery every day) and they go in on monday along with valve springs. Thanks for the prompt service Stephan.

I just replaced the standard cat last week and it sent my existing 10psi tune to over 13psi before I backed off. Now with the standard tune in it goes to 7psi-(custom tune next week). Take your new injectors with you to the tuner asap for a custom tune.
