  1. My walbro take alittle longer to start (1 or 2 seconds) but only if its been a few days since I've driven. Most of the time it starts fine.
  2. There's congestion in all the eastern cities (Brisbane, Melbourne & Sydney). Good to see Sydney a happy and healthy place, have an uncle who's 85 this year.
  3. I always use an oil that I think the motor really likes. Castrol Edge seems to be like by the ford 6 and is changed every 10 000kms.
  4. looks like your doing all the right mods, especially the actuator/flapper mod. your power output will depend on model/transmission. more details!!

  6. Well, just got home after getting seperated from the group at Macquarie park shops. Got stuck at the lights then followed Rapid and another T onto the M5 and headed home. It was a great night and it was great to meet some of you. @ rapid: it was me who gave you a "see ya later beep" just before Heathcote Rd

  8. You definitely need a tune when changine the cat or any part if your system. I changed the cat and a tune straight away and have no issues at all. Being a BF you should've just saved up for a flash box and tune to keep you happy until you save up for more mods.

  11. count me in as well, is it a UHF CB that you guys use.... Like this, http://www.ryda.com.au/Uniden-UH036SX-2-UH...-p/uh036sx2.htm Any good?
  12. Sounds interesting, but don't have a CB. What type of CB's do you guys use?
  13. I have a BA also. Your injectors and valve springs will be your first restriction. Then your cat, and probably your actuator spring will be as soft as a slinky. They are my experiences. Don't worry about the end power result, it varies from car to car. What's your budget?
  14. it may be Peter
  15. no silly, the other direction lol

Forget the CD's , they are history. Get an iPOD and iPOD Integration.
  25. Valve springs are good security. Things like seat pressure and coil bind come to mind. A standard valve spring will move around on its retainer causing harmful harmonics and excessive wear. Your car will still make power but your springs are being forced onto their retainer is very likely to fail at the coil. You will soon enough loose seat pressure and power will diminish and the standard spring will get weaker and weaker until it fails, and when it does fail you will certainly know about. Sometime you have to do modification the help you make the power. You'll be surprised how much smoother your motor will be and how willing and easier to rev. It's important to have valve spring seat pressure especially on a turbo car to insure tight contact between the valve face and the valve seat. This provides proper heat transfer from the valve to the cylinder head. Remember if the valve bounces, cylinder pressure and power is lost. If it happens over and over in time the head of the valve will deform & break from the valve stem resulting in engine failure. If you modify a car do it properly, but at the end of the day its your car and its really easy to make lots of power, but have you made it safely??
