Not Correct! I was running the Capa 8psi generic tune which with 227rwkw. I'm now running a Custom Wog Tune where my boost gauge peaks at 15psi and only got 238.1rwkw. Just for interest, both runs were on the same dyno! ← Are you sure that's not 283rwkw?? I have over 280rwkw @ 15 psi peak, without doing injectors & pump , altough it will have soon!

If these are GENUINE Siemens Deka IV Injectors at that price, you can put me down for a set! How soon can we get these?

Too much oomf! There's more than one cause but, I would think that having exesive combustion pressures would be the leading cause. That would be followed by(or combined with) having an engine detonotating at high revs would do it sure.

Your car's been Wogged & the Wog is a gearbox's worst enemy! I speak from experience.

It would seem that Ford have realised there mistake(one of them) & fixed this in the BF series. Does anyone know what 'normal' oil temps should be in the Ts? I was watching my oil temp gauge when I turned on the air con(outside temp was 31c) go upto 110c-120c during normal driving, is this normal? BTW, I'm using Castrol Edge 0-40w synthetic.

My car was still under their New Car Warranty when my Auto blew because of the torque it had to handle(thanks woggy ). I could have tried to get away with returning it to ford & get a new box but, what's the point if a standard box can't handle the grunt? I opted to get mine rebuilt to handle the extra grunt but, now it can handle more power than I currently have, so this issue needs to be addressed.

The problem I have is, when ever I try & disconect my battery, the factory car alarm goes off in my ear & nearly deafens me! Does anyone know how to dissable it(I have tried the remotes already)? Can anyone help me???

The only way a rod would do this, is if it let go & the piston flew up, but you would know if that had happened!

My understanding of the Ethanol Blend fuels, is that they have a higher oxygen content than 'normal' premium fuels. This would make it OK (maybe even beneficial) to run on a T which has a very rich factory tune. The problem is, once you have an edit(which generally runs leaner & hence gives you better economy) it would, IMHO, make it much more susceptible to pinging/detonation when running an Ethanol Blend, especially in the hotter months. I would suggest that you either have it tuned for that particular fuel or run a 95RON Map when using it in summer, just to be safe. Just my 2c worth.

Which pump is better to get... The Bosch 044 (330 litres/hr) or the Walbro GS-342 (255litres/hr) ? The Walbro is only rated @ 500hp which doesn't seem enough if you have any more than 280rwkw(in other words... a Wog tune ). Hey ENVY-T, what's Nick recomended for your replacement pump?

I was about to say, your 60' time seemed a little too high. Now your ET seems a little too low. Practice may not be the problem since you could only really gain .2 - .4 with a better 60' time, which(IMHO) is already pretty good. However, you may just sneak in to the high 12 sec, with a better launch, although you may need MT to do it.

I got myself a nice new shiny Wogcooler and proceeded to sand it down and spray it a matt black. Can't notice it at all! ← Ditto! I think it's best not to draw too much attention to it.
