I feel for you man! I have had dry socket, Number 1 best thing to do, if you cant get to the dentist is to go to coles-way and buy a bag of cloves, and put them in water and gargle the water. The dentisit will fill the dry hole with cotton wool with clove extract... hope it gets better soon!

I got the three beeps and no lights (from memory) when my boot was unlocked, especially when going around corners etc..

Moving up into a better place each time is great, But for me the worst part of it is updating all those credit card, driver licence, private health insurance, animal microchip, mobile, magazine subscriptions etc... Oh and the wait to get ADSL connected!!!

Well, just got back in from doing ENVY-T's mod. ME = Mechanical Nuffy Job = Fairly Simple Pipes and stuff falling off = Me sh*tting myself Took me about an hour and half, got the parts and some pliers from Bunnings $4 all up. Went a bit white half way through looking at all the stuff I had taken off ( that Turbo labled black thing that sits on engine ( again mechanical nuffy) But got it all back on and went for a drive. VERY HAPPY with result. And my newfound mechanical abilities... Thanks again ENVY-T for your post.

I tried the option of full heater, full fan, fresh air for about half an hour.. and seeing it was 36+ in Melbourne yesterday, this fat santa dropped a few suit sizes me thinks! I think it actually fixed the smell as later in the day and again this morning no smell, will also start using the fresh option and turning the A/C 5 mins before home and see how it goes. Worse case will pull out the glenn 20 after xmas.. Thanks for eveyones help!

Gday All, Coming up to my first Summer with the T. I have been using the air con recently, and found that when returning to the car after having driven it with the air con on, say to the shops etc, when I get back in the car it has a smell of what I can only describe as air con gas ( other passengers call it cat piss!! ). I turn on the air con on full blast, and smell seems to go away after a few mins. Car is 2003, was wondering if this is "normal" or I need a re-gass or something? Thanks guys..Merry Xmas!

rather than hosting this file on one server for every one to pound Why not make a torrent file out of it and have every body use bittorrent to download it ( and help upload it) as if its only 150mb it shouldnt be to hard on everyone to help out seeding it...

*UPDATE* Called Binks Ford today to book in for service, guy said the starting price for the 90,000k service is $457 bucks. He said it was a "big" one but couldnt tell me what it would consist of. Is the price right? and anyone know the checklist of stuff they will do?

Hey guys, so im about to hit the big 90,000 service. I have only got this car in the past few months. I love it, and yes got it at a steal, she goes great, and cant fault it. (brother in law ex lease) My question is I have never had a "new"ish car and never done the book service thing. How much should I expect to pay? and should I buy my own oil? parts etc? before I turn up? Any tips would be great, I appreciate your help!
