FG Turbo oil feed line or Earls filter kit in Adelaide
camo86T replied to Gee-dog's topic in Turbo Workshop
What part did you actually break - the filter housing? (like I did) Local Ford dealer should have in stock if so -
Lol fair question All encouragement/abuse welcomed, believe me. Key is to try fit it in just after I finish something on the house so the wife can't complain
-
Seeing as you asked, quick upate

Sent off the (year old, never fitted) SSL coils on Thursday, waiting for box to return with SL's inside No re-stocking fee or anything cos a mate of a mate Had another talk to Allsprings about the leaves and as suggested above it's the front re-wrapped to reverse eye as will, which obviously will give more camber-->strength for the same height. Will also look at possibility of replacing the main leaf with a thicker one

^what this guy said In the mean time, buy some other car that'll hold its value reasonably well, stay out of trouble with the cops and get yourself a poster or something of a mint looking XR6T as motivation Fark how old do I sound

As you say, lucky Luke, pun intended. I probably should've added (It's yet to be confirmed - pediatrician appointment is for early next month) but all feedback so far points to our son being in the autism spectrum He turned 3 last November but his communication is very limited and and it gets so frustrating (for him but us as well) when even the wife and I have no clue what he's trying to say, or when he can't even attempt it so it just turns into a tantrum Not that it has a massive impact on whether he twists one off when sitting on the toilet or not, but it's basically impossible to reason with him about the most basic of things, let alone discuss the proper place for dirty nuggets, been trying to train him on and off for nearly 6 months now. We love the kid to death, he's usually good natured and have awesome times with him, but very rarely do either reasoning, arguing, bribing or even threatening, work with anything, at anytime. If he gets something into his head then that's it. Eg. he all of a sudden has a thing that the two big date palms out the front are out to get him and will go ballistic when we go near them or try to get him to. Anyway. Not what I came here to stay but it sort of feels good to vent.

Outback dunny or un-trained dog...? Similar but worse than my morning then Woke up to find the young fella sitting on his bed nappyless and a sheepish look on his face Hands have some tiny stains on them , nappy is out in the rumpus room, empty but with skids, and there's a huge turd in the toilet bowl. There's no way he's sat on it, he's pulled the nappy off and carried it to the toilet and scooped it out as far as I can work out. Been trying and trying to train him for ages without result, refuses to so much as drip into the bowl when he's on it. Have personally sat in the bathroom with him for 30+min when I know he's busting but he'll hold it in until he gets a nappy on. Anyway the wife was going off her brain at him, he seems to have done it fairly tidily but still sheets to change again and I know she'll be cleaning / checking out the house all day for signs. He doesn't understand it's unnecessary double handling

Replacement Gear Knob/ball/stick for FG manual
camo86T replied to masda74's topic in Interior & Exterior Workshop
If you just want to change the knob check this selection https://core-shifters.com/collections/6-speed-knobs?page=1 If arronm's assumption is correct and FG thread is also M10x1.5 then buy this, has correct gear config for our cars https://core-shifters.com/collections/6-speed-knobs/products/hurst-shifter-shift-knob-black-dodge-ram-nv5600-srt10-t56-6-speed-10mm-x-1-5 For the hell of it I'm making my own gear stick, using a bit of 25x10 stainless flat bar hacked and bent to shape/size with an M12 bolt (less the head) on top Will mirror polish the section you'll see and weld a gusseted flat bar offset on the bottom to suit FG 90deg lever position I'll post up pics when done -
masda74 now knows how it feels like, to be logged in as @camo86T sorry, but you had 6 notifications. I clicked on the first one and worked out I was logged in as someone else.

Could well have been that for all I could hear. Sounds like an illegal UFC move I take it that it's basically also reversing front eye (as well as the kings reverse rear eye) or is there more to it? Edit Like so? http://www.cjponyparts.com/total-control-products-leaf-spring-reverse-eye-1-1-2in-lowering-4-1-2-leaf-pair-1965-1973/p/TCPLSMR45/

Ok well the leaves have been in for 4 months now The height - or lack of - is really starting to piss me off, big sh*tty speed humps without slowing to a painful crawl and exhaust scrapes Got a quote from Allsprings in Moorebank to reset the leaves to whatever height He was also gong on about some 'conversion' he reckons he does for pac performance's leaf sprung cars to get rid of tramp No caltracs/tramp rods etc. The line was crackly as crap so I couldn't make out half of what he was saying, did some searching but nothing came up (except allsprings has a sh*t name for coils lol) The only thing I thought I picked up was that he put an extra leaf in which has been done before with varying levels of success, is by no means a cure-all for tramp Will give another call later today. @Ford Freak have you measured your front HTG yet??
