  1. So that would save you taking off the icc and all you would have to do is run the vac line through the firewall [emoji1303]
  2. If it's an f6 so already has the stock gauges could you just use the power source that the stock one was running off and wire it up to the new one to run the lights? obviously it would have to be plumbed up to a vac line since it's not an electric gauge
  3. Yer I'm soo keen dropping it off at cms on Saturday gonna be so good
  4. Yer but I felt I should buy something from these guys since I'm not getting the tuning done there anymore now I'm really glad I'm going elsewhere for the tuning. Figured out they gave me the fg one so they are getting the bf one sent express now [emoji36]
  5. Got this dump and cat pipes from a local shop made by advance headers and they assured me multiple times these will bolt straight in but there is no flange to match at the end of the cat and I thought there was supposed to be a y piece that merges is to stock catback am I missing something
  6. Yer I'll probs just get another the stock ones crap anyway. And I think it's like that fiftyone coz the wires aren't plugged into the sender at all
  7. All good I'll probs just buy another boost gauge that plumbs into the vacuum line can't read the stock one anyway lol
  8. Nothing there was no where to put it on the plazmaman one I literally just thought of that thing, is that the sensor for the boost gauge? Where am I supposed to plumb it in to the new piping there was no fitting on the plazmaman intercooler like on the stock one?
  9. Just got my front bar on and everything and noticed that when I turn the ignition on even before I start the car the boost gauge needs goes all the way to the right side the car isn't even running yet and it does this and doesn't move when I start the car everything is plugged in the boost sensor was plugged in both ends what have I done wrong?
  10. Does it have a heavy duty clutch in it? If not allow another $2k for that
  11. Yer I'll have to give it a go next time I see it on special. Yer I've got a bit of a sweet tooth so I like the sweeter bourbons like jd and wild turkey American honey
  12. Is makers mark like the forum drink of choice or something lol use all love it. I prefer Jd of American honey personally
  13. Yer I know what you mean it's different when you start talking about that much money lol
  14. Yer I see what your saying and I guess the value thing is more important the more you spend but if you go with a bf the car is always going to drop in value a fair bit because of how old they are IMO if you want a certain car resale value shouldn't be a big factor in buying it if you are going to be keeping it for a while
  15. Trust me an f6 is never a bad purchase have never regretted buying mine
  16. Give your dad a hi-5 for dropping a fat skid haha nice car but top work pep loving the thread
  17. Well old intercooler came out and new one went in tonight all went pretty smoothly didn't require any cutting of the front rail only needed a bit of cutting where the pod sits pretty happy with it [emoji3]
  18. This car was in Canberra seen it around a couple times the first few vids he had the plates on it still and heard from a couple people that he almost got in sh*t don't know how true that was but they are some pretty good skids hey@stever
  19. Yer well my pinion bearing is buggered so the rebuild will make a difference but looking forward to seeing how good the truetrac is. Anything you don't guys don't like about it?
  20. Already done mate on its way now intercoolers going in tomorrow and also decided to take it to cms so it's booked in there on the 15th and pick it up a week later [emoji1303] how long have you had a truetrac in for?

  22. Quick question is this a good spot to put my jack stands
  23. Would be keen as but the f6 in going into cms on the 15th [emoji16]
  24. Picked up this jack today from Costco for $175 2000kg low profile goes from 91mm and raises to 530mm great build quality and has been getting great reviews only draw back is it's f*ckin heavy they make an aluminium/steel one for the same price that lifts 1800kg although it's a bit higher at 101mm and only raises to 460mm would definitely recommend them both have twin pumps
  25. Nothing like getting quoted out of context hahaha
