$17k I wonder where this figure came from, Ford's Microcat still doesn't have any parts or prices listed for the ZF 6 speed auto.

Walbro Pumps
Be watchful when buying a Walbro or Bosch pumps there are imitations around make sure your pump is stamped with the maker and part number on the side of the pump. Ebay or mail order performance shops, is a place where you could end up with a imitation pump, some sellers are warning potential purchasers that there pumps are the genuine product.

Intercooler With No Cutting Involved?
Hi Dynowog, I previously read a thread on the fitting of a APS Cooler, this one could be different to the one your talking about, this member said it didn't require a air con mod. see last post. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=23228

Bf Tornado
leaving the standard BF FPV brakes on we can run any drag tyre we like, with the 4 pot rears you need a 18'' to fit over the brake.

Bf Tornado
I am happy with my 4 pots, the 6 pot option is it around $5000 more, its to much cash for an upgrade.

Bf F6 Auto
Hi-Stall will be the only way we see the 1.7 60 foots, to get some awesome times happening. Most if not all very quick times are with HI-Stalls. I was speaking to (Rob) Mr Turbo and Leo they said Preston automatics make them a special 2nd gear Hi-Stall allows them to spool that long they leave the line on very high psi boost. I wouldn't like a Hi-Stall just for racing application, a baby stall 2800/3000 rpm, would be nice. Low ET's = its all in the 60. I was referring to all ZF Auto owners, everyone else has all parts of there edit. We played many times with AU's and BA's with Hi-stalls and without the edit limp-home mode is its best friend.

Calder Park To Under Go A Full Revamp
I was in Adelaide last Saturday for a few hours picking up some drag racing parts, and the story I was told is AIR is in limbo because it was to be SOLD to a large wrecker in Adelaide called Russo, he payed Bob a deposit after the deposit was payed and the paper work was checked over for final sale Bob allegedly held back on a large part of the land, and said it wasn't going to be in the sale of AIR. Its been through the law courts for some time now, until its resolved I cant see a dollar being spent on AIR. The land in dispute is about 100 acres. We will here soon enough, this info came from a staff member in CPR operations. I like most who love drag racing hope this upgrade isn't another round of Bob dangling a carrot every time there is news of a new track. Most are saying they don't believe it until they see it. Great Pic Luke.

Calder With Cuzins F6 Auto(12's Out Of The Box)
Yes it works, I cant do it without it going back to 1st on its own, Mauz does the whole thing in 1.2 seconds when he drove my car , maybe I am just to slow. I have seen 1.91, 60 foot stock with the BMC 12.7. What day did you head to Calder?

Need New Turbo
From the Turbosmart website: Why do I need a Blow-off Valve (BOV)? Blow-Off Valves eliminate compressor surge when changing gears. Excessive back pressure is created when the throttle is closed during gear changes or deceleration, causing turbo cavitation. This is detrimental to the life of the turbocharger. Fitting a BOV will substantially improve this problem. Installing a BOV will also significantly reduce turbo spool-up time. A substantial improvement in response from the turbo between gearshifts and a quicker boost delivery will result in an increase in torque at lower RPM. Flutter - good or bad? The “flutter” noise reported by many excited enthusiasts may sound good but is actually very unhealthy for the turbo. The “flutter” occurs when upon shutting the throttle, air caught between the free-spinning turbo and the shut throttle. The consequent back pressure forces the air back through the turbine blades. This process, more commonly called “cavitation” places enormous loads on the turbo and can lead to premature wear of the turbo bearings and other load-bearing components. The cavitation or “flutter” can be fixed by either fitting a blow-off valve onto a system that hasn’t got one, or making sure the blow-off valve is matched to the output of the turbo and is not working outside its flow capacity and ensuring the blow-off valve is set up correctly.

Two Short Videos Of Speedo In Auto Bf Typhoon
3 x 12.7 109 mph, 1.9 - 60 foots, on dunlop sp 9000 19'' last Friday. Still felt very restrictive under foot, compared to my new one. its amazing when you get the gas out and flowing with a decent exhaust how much better the car responds and feels through the accelerator.
