Total funds raised on the day will be given directly to the Leukaemia Foundations S.A. Patient Village. All spectators welcome. Our aim is to also secure photographers from several Performance magazines to take photos of the day. Once again first in first serve on the dyno. We will have a scoreboard up throughout the day. To see how you compare with your mates. We will also be supporting the local Scout club that will be running g a barbecue all day from 9am, so come hungry as great food and drinks will be available. We are deciding upon catagories for vehicles, Although it remains a fun charity day display event , we will make it interesting with prizes etc. Both Maughan Thiem and City Expensive Daewoo are participating with displays. Old v new Ford v Holden More details coming.

This run is focused purely on raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation. The dyno will be an open day for all make and model cars at $50 entry. Get your car on the dyno and challenge your mates for power supremecy and a chance at prizes with total proceeds going to a great charity. Together with various Ford and Expensive Daewoo dealerships and car clubs we will have prizes and giveaways on the day. There will also be various displays from all involved. The local scout club will run a barbecue for breakfast and lunch and most of the day. We also invite you to display your car out the front of our premises on the day for a fun Show and Shine. We expect both new and old muscle cars , so it should be a great day. We want this to be open for all, including families so as we get closer I will post more information. The event will be held at KPM Motorsport 257 Goodwood Road Kings Park starting 9am on Saturday May 12 2012.

We decided to use a stockie as we need a weak link that isnt as expensive as a trans. We dont mind covering broken tailshafts under our warranty but ZF tansmissions will hurt.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes we had lots of people hanging around over 2 days. It shows how easy it is to innocently see or hear something as it really isn’t. We all cop this every day because of the passion in this industry from both customers and workshops. Most people look past comments or rumor however some take it as gospel. This is when it affects all involved negatively. Always best to work people/actions out for yourself. Thanks for your reply, it shows character.

I must have been at a differant event. I dont recal raving or waffling. I dont recall saying anything about cheap. Did I speak with you? I was given the microphone to say something, so I spoke. Dont forget we are a Ford Turbo and V8 workshop as well as Holdens 6cyls and V8s . Why would we waffle over one particular brand or even more narrow minedly over one particular engine. Other than our KPM Ford car and possibly one other I saw no Ford representaion on dyno. If you define waffling as participating ,KPM will always allow the indepenant testing of our vehicles to waffle for us eg drag strip / race track / dyno or even a simple exhaust upgrade. Our waffling is always in the results achieved. Why. Because we do this for a living. Our Turbo cars were proven at similar public events in 05 when first released. We were amongst the first in S.A to waffle over the BA XR6T. Now we are amongst the first to waffle over the Miami engine. I am sure I will be waffling over future geniunely impressive Ford and Holdens vehicles. More positevly, I do agree, and redirect the focus on many great custom and enthusiast cars today.
