  1. Will a +45 offset fit? 19x8.5
  2. I'm only using a 90mm thick core with aircon lines redone with flex line and I had to cut the lip on the back of the bar, my cooler core was only 470mmL too! may be because its 400H. Any way still a decent size job.
  3. Is the core 600mmL? if it is GOOD LUCK! There are a few PPL that have fitted them though. The only way you'll get it in front of the bar is if you cut the bar out!
  4. Agree 100%.
  5. I took off form the lights 2 weeks ago after a late shift (2am), gassed it, the car spun up pretty hard! unfortunatly the cops were just pulling up on a side street. I pulled over straight away befor the lights had even come on, I knew what would happen ( I did think to myself "I could just keep my foot down! they would never catch me" then came to my senses and copped it on the chin!). The cop was great, he asked me why I did it? I answered "because its a cold night and the car was going really well, also there wasn't anyone else on the road". He gave me a "Excessive Noise" fine ($108) not bad considering he said he could have charged me with "uncontrolled motor vechical" ($600 + $400 to get the car out of the impound). Treat the Cops with a little respect and they are normally pretty good! except 'Vic road Cops' they're not nice, EVA!
  6. I think you'll find that a T with around 300rwkw will do over 250 quite easly. You are using a lot of road per second at that speed though.
  7. Is there actually any other kit out there besides the FPV, C2R(DJR) kits? there really isn't much to choose from.
  8. My mate has one on his car. If they were out when I bought my cooler deffinatly would have gone one. Excellent cooler and easy to fit! deffintly a good choice.
  9. I picked up 40rwkw from changing intercooler and plumbing. That was without changing anything else (inc tune). Same dyno. That was from a PWR direct cooler to a Custom jobbie. So deffinatly something to look at.
  10. there would be truth to that, due to the fact that there isn't as much backpressure restricting the turbine from spooling up.
  11. Did you just do the cat? What did they charge fitted? I've been recommended AAA from multiple people now, not just on this forum so I think I will give them a call in the week. ← I got dump, cat and 3.5" run up to where it run over the diff then std rear section. Think it was around $800-900ish it was a while ago so cant really remember.
  12. I have a 3.5" METAL CAT, got it through AAA exhaust in Richmond. There is also MAGIC cats which also flow very well.
  13. PWR have a AERO2 cooler that is 300x500x73 for $534. Saw the in REPCO brochure.
  14. Thought that might be the answer, think they must have a pritty $$$ deal going on! Wonder how much it will be released in the US for.
  15. Saleen, did you get any idea on the costing?
  16. I think ASE have started making the piping discussed! Good work Eugene
  17. I bought my mandrel bends from Autobarn! not at a premium though, they always hook me up with excellent prices. You can also buy cheap mandrel bends at Plazmaman. Deffinatly the cheapest way to do it, lay the bends, mark them, cut them and get some body to weld them! simple.
  18. Yeay would have just put it where the airbox was but the IC plumbing is just too big. I may look at get a different dimension battery to put there! Not that keen on putting it in the boot. Just didn't see a cheap enough option. Is there a minimum CCA battery we should use? 650?
  19. There are a different crew of people with these cars now! and most of them are happy with spending minimal time and money to get the power figure. Every thing has been figured out for them and there are many cheap options for power now. By the way great work on the cut and shut, will be good to see it all plumbed up! How will you get the plumbing away form the PCM? Well Done!
  20. Can you tell me what page its on there are 15 of them and I'm lazy. Cheers found it!
  21. Looking for people that have relocated the battery to the boot. Just want to see what the install looks like and how much boot space is lost. Also how people went about it? Was going to get a Oddyssey ect but dont really want to fork out the cash at this stage. Need to get the airfilter away from the hot air. Ideas/suggestions welcome!!! Kym
  22. I would post one of my dyno sheets up but im in Darwin ATM! My power curve looks like a ski jump, with stuff all mid range. Very good for saving the auto (auto is stock, except trans cooler) and has been running 260rw for 9months and over 300rw for 4months. The only down fall is how dissapointing the car feels. This is gonna change soon with a new air intake, battery relocation, trans rebuild and re-tune. Can't wait....dont need any more power at the top just the massive mid-range.
  23. That is one fat power curve! I cant wait to have my trans rebuilt so I can get some decent low-down power. My car is running around the low 300's and is boring to drive! I need the big turbo rush! soon! very soon! ← Greedy Pr!ck Having dry road traction issues in 1st & 2nd wouldn't be considered boring by most peoples standards. ← Traction issues who's having them??? I'm serious my car really is boring. The boost comes on at like 7psi the slowly tapers up to 13-14psi at the top. Only breaks traction when it's really cold weather (a CIA will help this instead of the Hot Air Intake I have ATM). It hardly feels quicker than when it was 260rw. A big boost spike will fix it in the bottom end power!!!! (and maybe even the bottom end)
  24. MV are over here in adelaide, they have done a fair few from what I have heard. A rebuild will cost you $2500 through them. Have heard plenty of good word about them though!
