Depends what you mean by custom? Headers and 2.5 inch with hi flow cat plus xr8 air intake and a dyno tune has been proven for 198 rwkw on an xr6 sedan. Same motor as xt so without the air intake id guess 190 at the treads after a tune. Hope that helps

Hate to drag up an old topic but my ba has the adjustable rear arms and also came factory with tow pack. Maybe they were installed on cars with tow pack to adjust for the weight on the rear? Just looking at lowering my fg and its a real pain cos my suspension guy wont drop the cradle out to do the control arms. Is there a step by step somewhere on doinf these in an fg

Pretty sure you can do prevoc course as a night course in some states. Other than that maybe just do some research so if u get a call u have some basic knowledge ei cable sizes vs current capacity cct breaker sizes for cable sizes, tools of the trade and the big one that gets em everytime what is electricity and how is it produced. Things like voltages frequency, resistance, current and how there measured. If you can get your head around that u should impress in an interview. Im looking at putting a 2 1/2" system with high flow cat and extractors on my fg xr. First of all the installer says theres an issue with the co2 sensors not being long enough for extractors, can you buy an extension for the lead for this or is there another way around it. Also what should I be paying for this kind of system and is it something I could do myself. Any recommendations of what you guys think is best or any tips on na exhausts for fg at all. Thanks

Im a sparky in country sa on roughly 60k a year with a company car but if u want to do it u really need to work your way up to that. Adult apprenticeship wages are ok bit not enough if u have a family with one wage a house mortgage and car loan. Ud need a second job behind a bar or something. As for test tagging we send our 1st year apprentice to do all of ours. Nuff said. It sucks

Mate the screen colour is black when headlights on and grey when there off? If that's what your referring to? As far ss the options in the lux and tech packs. It really varies depending on the year you buy. The 10" colour display for example I believe was an option till 2010 and then bec a me a standard. Just shop around and ul soon pick up on what the extras are and we hat ones u want and what ones u can live without

Mate its your car you treat it how you want. I had my ba turbo for 6 years and hit limiter maybe 3 times and two were due to wheel spin. If your mates wana thrash there cars then let them.
