  1. Sorry Tex but I gotta 100% disagree on that comment. You see - I'm wired differently to most people.....or looking at it the other way, I'm wired the same way as (approx) 10% of the Aussie population and it is definitely not a weakness. A weakness wouldn't MAKE (and I really do mean ( in a worst case scenario ) FORCE) a person to snap someones neck just so they could steal their flagon coz going another hour without a drink is a torture of unspeakable measures --- Not that I ever did that --- but my addiction would if I thought that it would stop what was going on in my head or alleviate the physical ( sometimes debilitating) feelings. I have said before on this forum that everyone has an addiction to something - even if they don't realise it. Some addictions are good and others are not and it is my opinion that 'weakness' has nothing to do with whether a person suffers any ill-effect from not fulfilling the requirements of their "addiction". To finish on a positive note (even though this is the WPMOT thread) I'll tell you all about a friend of mine - for over 20 years. These days, with Internet Banking it is so easy to transfer money - even on a regular basis - automatically but a friend of mine (let's call him Brian) but Brian has written a cheque every single calendar month to the amount of $20 and sent it to a charity in NSW, - every single month for the last 30 plus years. He has told me that if he - personally - doesn't put the envelope in the Post Box during the first week of the month, he has these horrible feelings of dread and doom until he does. Again.......my opinion only here but I wouldn't call that a weakness. He has developed an addiction. Oh and by the way, just to show that I am qualified to speak of addictions ( #inb4somemuttgoogleseverythingtotryandproovemewrong) Hi, I'm Don and I'm ( etc. etc. )
  2. Did you remember to top up the fluid??
  3. Mine was T-pieced on the side of the block This is the best photo I have....sorry
  4. it is where I live....straight out of the biggest septic tank (the Murray) and into the house They do put 10 tonne of chlorine per litre in it.. Great taste. I get boxed water from coles
  5. Up until a couple of months back, I was a big coke zero drinker....maybe 2 litres a day....so I made the choice to stop drinking it and only drink water - never drank water while I was addicted to the zero. Anyhoo About a month ago, my back teeth top and bottom started to chip and break. A couple are now just 'filling'. I blame it on the water

    New Members Thread

The below comes from this thread for the G6 http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/89320-g6et-drag/. A hell of a lot of FG's don't break anything on the quarter mile but there are a lot that do....Tailshaft is the most common and that could end up being VERY expensive if it punches a hole in the floor. If you're interested in putting it on the strip and spool it up fairly hard, I would fork out the 1100 'ish bucks to get the shaft re-sleeved and re-balanced and new CV's in that price as well....that's a good start. Post a pic of the new car so we can have a look at your new 'pride and joy'.
  7. No idea how to attach a .pdf file in the forum Dan so if this doesn't work, pm me an email addy and I'll send the file to you. ------------------ This diet was given to me by a friend that was (she won't mind m saying this)...... extremely large ......(I still couldn't bring myself to type 'farken fat' coz she's a friend). It's called the Egg Diet -- maybe some people have seen it/used it. It's a 21 day diet and I understand that with work and wot-not, this diet may be hard to stay on for the entire 21 days.........and in all honesty, I couldn't do the whole 21 and I'm home 24/7. She is proof that it works as in three weeks, all I'll say is, she lost a hell of a lot of weight and now - when she sees her weight going up, she does the first 7 days and a couple of weeks later, doest the second 7 days and that takes her down to the weight that her Doctor is cumfy with and the ONLY exercise she does is walk from the house to the car, from the car to the consol at the servo that she owns. In the last few weeks, 3 other people that I know have told me that they use this diet as well to keep their weight under control. Have a look and see what you think egg diet.pdf

Not sure if having -full- traction is a good idea with 318kw....unless you are ready to replace whatever snaps . eg. tailshaft....cv...half shaft etc. etc.. Maybe safer to let the tryes slip a bit or if you're determined to have full (1st gear) traction, check out some of the members build threads to see how easy things can break on some of these cars. Enjoy the new car mate and I hope the family enjoys it as well.

  19. And by 'matched set' he means that 6 injectors that have -almost- the exact same characteristics are put in a box and sold as a set. I heard that kpm do quite a lot of research .... Good to hear someone confirm it besides them.

  21. Does the thermo fan have a preset range in that sort of setup or is it on all the time?
  22. ^^^WHFWS
  23. Drivability is important I agree but -- has anyone been for a drive in an underneath TT setup? (or even a single T?) I've only been in a blown 6.2 VF once and it is very impressive but it deffinately needed a bit more boost ( imo ) and I think the guy at metroholden sort of thought the same --- without saying anything. Have watched a cupla vids of a TT setup and - like the 6T - it looks like a bit of a handfull when they come on boost. In the end though, the money to do anything is Jet and Fluffs. Arrrrrrrr stuff it ......... lets help them spend it so their financial adviser guy is happy
  24. Damn Gunna have to turn the laptop on coz my stupid fone won't show linked vids to vimeo
  25. lol... ..but true. Next time. I love it when your step kids are there Fluff coz you usually end up with them in the kitchen whipping up something that sounds/looks awesome. Onya mate
