  1. Not good at all Bionic, everyone has already said all that can be said, hopefully everything works out mate... Mick, you should of been there mate
  2. Hahaa no comment.... But I just had a quick look over the footage and I was 5seconds from getting done! Very lucky boy! Pixys car was blowing abit if smoke (from one side), and IJet's clutch seems to hold really well around corners hahaa
  3. Yea I'll put something together... Before anyone asks, Yes we were on "private and closed roads" Idk 10 or so cars
  4. Top day guys, good to finally meet alot of you, and everything was fairly sensible haha.. I made it home in one piece, so that's a bonus...
  5. Mad!.. Not at this stage, but I've been known to make last minute decisions, are you? Mad!.. Not at this stage, but I've been known to make last minute decisions, are you? Mad!.. 6. Haha I'm keen mate, does that clubby of yours skid? We'll go skid for skid? Your welcome to join Gaz haha
  7. I think there's one but it wasn't very impressive to be honest, just had to make enough smoke for one shot, but It was actually incredibly hard as I couldn't let the car move at all!! And I had to keep it going for about 15seconds... Pretty much went between 1-2-1-2
  8. I may try that bjc, There was a fella recently at a dyno day that had the air filter/piping off, high mount turbo sitting proud making just shy of 1000hp I think, then an alloy cover over the power steering lid came off and straight into the turbo... Not a pretty sight at all but my thoughts are more that the cover is doing its job to keep the hot engine bay air out, but may not be letting enough fresh air in from outside the car, so I will probably do a run in normal form, then again with the air box lid off... But I'd also like to take advantage of any extra air it can get in normal driving conditions, so basically better channelling of the air towards the air box/filter as is done with the factory and FG GT/KPM intakes...
  9. Looking Good I Jet.. Can't wait to see this car on Saturday!
  10. Some more photos came through this afternoon.. I love them haha... Check out his page, and hit him up for a shoot https://www.facebook.com/rickyriguttophotography
  11. No doubt about that, I'm thinking more along the lines of where is the actual box getting its cool air from? There is sweet Fark all circulation going into the air box... We'll soon find out, it's an inexpensive exercise for my next free weekend

  13. I'll be bringing 2 Gerri's, just coz
  14. I'm with you Keith, but surely it can be made more efficient
  15. For anyone that's interested, or needs to plan fuel stops/Gerri cans etc.. I've calculated it to be around 148km from Harry's to Robertsons going the way that is described in the info... Then for me to get back to Hoxton park from Robertsons it's about 109km...
  16. Haha I'd say the turbo will be digesting more air then air speed going in, but I get what your saying woody haha... Genius mate! Have you still got our original design laying around at home? I would Matty, but it's not a VL turbo haha
  17. I'll have to take some measurements, the GT/KPM intake and even the factory BA/f intakes work by channelling the air through the entire front grill, up to where the bonnet latch is (both sides, not just the passenger side) then the bonnet directs it towards the intake snorkel/filter... I'm thinking of trying to capture all this air in a similar fashion Don't get me wrong, the Process West Air box is great, and is more then adequate for 99% of people, especially with the 6" filter and bell mouth, that directs the air to the 4" intake pipe... But let's face it, I've spent so much time refining everything else, why stop there
  18. I also had a good look at the race air box and I'd doesn't seem to be able to get much fresh air? In comparison to how much the turbo requires when it's doing 100,000+ rpm.. I'm thinking of drilling some holes... Has anyone ever done any dyno comparisons with the lid on and off?
  19. This is what I'm trying to achieve.. There's a lot of hear say about these turbos, they won't hold any more then 27psi, they won't make 500rwkw, etc... Yes it's out of its efficiency range, but it will do it... I want to max out the stock cams and manifolds then design some cams and possibly even make up my own turbo manifold It's essentially choking the motor up top, that's why it still comes on strong but makes peak power around the 5000-5500rpm range and peak torque down around 2500-3000rpm... I can't wait to get it on the dyno for some solid figures.. But 140mph on 22psi suggests mid to high 400's so I'll be disappointed if 30psi isn't into the 500's
  20. Ahh, just the forum one out to Robson pie shop, 1:30 meet at orange grove
  21. Just looked through the manual, no boost output signal, but it can switch on a device at certain boost/rpm levels
  22. It's just an Innovate Motorsport analogue gauge... But the eboost peak recall was 30.4psi... Hmm thinking about that, I wonder if the eboost has a 0-5v boost output so I can log it with my MPVI... Are you coming for the cruise on Saturday Veva?
  23. I'm still waiting for the other photos from the shoot, it's a good mate and he's editing them in his spare time.. I'll be doing a video/photo shoot of a powerskid in the near future, a couple of cameras on Gyros, a drone, go-pros microphones mounted to the car haha, just for sh*ts and giggles.. I made another milestone over the weekend..... She saw 30psi!! I know I keep saying it, but what a feeling! Turned the eboost up to 75% set point (duty cycle) but still 0 gain.. From the couple of looks I had at the gauge it seemed to go up to 30 and drop to around 28 on a 4th gear pull.... I can't wait to get some dyno time, but I'm also waiting on some support from HP tuners to run a 3.5bar map sensor so I can dial in the timing more thoroughly The rear end is now making abit of a noise, I suspect it's a cv feeling the pressure..
  24. A sneak peak at a photo shoot I had this afternoon!! So keen!
