  1. Man that's bloody awesome[emoji106] Lived in Perth for 1 year Sold the RZ to me mate (who just bought the Indian) for $1700!!!!!! Sold the IT and bought a KDX 200 Modified my trailer, took out the middle bike rail and welded in a lockable box for camping gear This is Mrs BCB on a trip out west here in QLD not long after we arrived in Cairns The trusty old VB V8 never missed a beat from Melbourne/Perth/ Darwin/Cairns
  2. This was a trip from Melbourne to Perth in 1992 Can't remember where, either somewhere on the SA coast or WA coast Mrs BCB's XR and my trusty IT and the other bike that comes a close second favourite, my RZ 500 [emoji106]
  3. sounds all to familiar (apart from the bike shop) I used to ride with some boys, called ourselves the breakfast club we would run up the coast road to Port Douglas for bacon eggs and coffee early most weekends trying to avoid the traffic that would ensue after about 8 am on the way back an hour or so later, we would inevitably upset other motorists by treating them as mobile chicanes even made it into the local rag (The Cairns Post) much to our amusement I thought I was invincible as well, that came to a screaming halt when a close friend died in a motorcycle crash doing stupid sh#t we used to treat the roads like a race track not any more, for me those days are over a good friend gave me this poem for a birthday I don't know if she penned it herself, but it really sums up my attitude to riding back then I still get a thrill from riding a motorcycle, and there is nothing like a good set of twisties for a shot of adrenaline it's just not at warp factor 10 anymore

  11. @Admin (as if) for you https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KINGSTON-HYPERX-FURY-8GB-1866MHZ-DDR3-DESKTOP-GAMING-RAM-Memory-PC-Desktop/283944159166?hash=item421c6407be:g:7nkAAOSwn0dfCSI6
  12. ebay is your friend you should be able to find a cheap one there @Admin (as if) if you still have the motherboard CD you can load up "easy tune" or download it HERE and do a auto overclock of the CPU which is a very safe bet not to cook anything The auto OC motherboard software always errs on the conservative side of things
  13. it MUST be the same your motherboard will only support DDR3 if that is what is in it now also make sure it is the same MHz eg: 1600 MHz usually there will be a sticker on the RAM module giving you this info here is the specs for your motherboard: 4 x DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32 GB of system memory * Due to a Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than the size of the physical memory installed. Dual channel memory architecture Support for DDR3 3200(O.C.) / 3100(O.C.) / 3000(O.C.) / 2933(O.C.) / 2800(O.C.) / 2666(O.C.) / 2600(O.C.) / 2500(O.C.) / 2400(O.C.) / 2200(O.C.) / 2133(O.C.) / 2000(O.C.) / 1866(O.C.) / 1800(O.C.) / 1600 / 1333 MHz memory modules Support for non-ECC memory modules Support for Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules
  14. All you need is another stick of ram to boost you to 16 GB and you're all set. I would guess that the CPU won't be an issue. You can always give it the flick and buy a second hand i7
