  1. the cortina guy came into work Friday his car roof is cactus and needs to find a donor body good news is that the indecent had nothing to do with the grill I made it was the bonnet locking pins that failed other good news is that the ANDRA boss that was there licencing him said most bonnet ups result in a car flip because the drivers go off the gas and then deploy the chute which lifts the rear of the car So he granted old mate a licence to drive his cortina

  7. Project Cars 3 is being released in 2 days !!!!!!!!!!! was so excited I nearly pre-purchased a copy of the deluxe edition.................................until I read this this is so disappointing to read, I for one will be steering well clear of this title excerpt from the above article : "Sadly, Project CARS 3 has thrown all of that out completely, with that feel now gone. Cars no longer react consistently, or how you would expect them to, when hitting ripple strips or kerbs. You can no longer tell when your car is on the edge of traction, and saving a slide becomes a monumental task should you find yourself in one. Traversing Bathurst is a nightmare over its dips and bumps as the car seems to move with a mind entirely of its own. A good race car with a strong setup feels grounded and balanced, but also right on a knife edge. You can trust the car to power out of a corner or brake consistently and drive it right between an equilibrium of grip and slip. This is completely missing from Project CARS 3. Instead, every car from the very slow to the blazingly quick handles like a boat and wobbles around like you’re out at sea."
  8. Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 touted as a game that will bring even an RTX 2080 Ti to its knees so I thought I would take a look at it I let it set it's own default according to my hardware and it runs really well considering the reviews I've read online running 2560x1440 @ 144Hz does smash the GPU at 100% most of the time but the frame rates I'm getting are more than acceptable
  9. I pay $707 per year with Shannons Fully comprehensive with minor mods Also just renewed policy with them for my Ducati They wanted to charge me $700 for my bike as well Western Underwriters offered me a fully comprehensive policy for $420 When I told Shannons I would be going with WU they matched the premium Always pays to do a bit of an online shop each year You can save hundreds [emoji851]
  10. I welded 8 fittings (Aeroflow ) to a couple of exhaust manifolds (steel) The fittings were very low grade stuff, so much so that I probably wouldn't buy something from them not saying that this is indicative of Aeroflow generally, but my very limited personal experience with one of their products
